Bruin Baseball Coach Tony Uggen, his staff, and several Bruins will be conducting a pre-season baseball clinic on four consecutive Mondays beginning February 15 at Blackford High School. “Blackford Baseball had a tradition for years of being very competitive and successful and we are hoping to get back that tradition! By holding these clinics, and sharing what we do, I am hoping we can get kids excited about playing the game of baseball again in Blackford County,” shared Coach Uggen. He added, “It will also be a great way for Future Baseball Bruins to get excited about and prepared for their upcoming spring and summer seasons. For those same reasons, we are also inviting parents and coaches to attend so they can learn or pick up a few fundamentals, drills, and ideas of things they can do to help their son or daughter improve as baseball players.”
Ages 6-10 will attend the 6:00-7:30pm clinics
Ages 11-14 will attend the later clinic from 7:30-9:00pm
Cost is $5 per night for the first 3 Mondays. If all 3 are attended, this March 7th clinic is free.
Checks should be made payable to “Blackford High School.” Clinic forms may be picked up in the main offices at Montpelier School, Northside, Blackford Junior High and the Athletic Office at Blackford High School beginning Monday, February 1. Forms should be turned in the first night that campers register.
